Recommendation: The One Course You Absolutely Should Buy Is
The Best !!! Inside Strategy
Because It Is Your Best Possible Chance to Break Even in Just 4 Rolls
* * * A Vision * * *
Not just knowledge, but actual understanding
The courses offered on this web-site are a response to the business model of the gambling industry - designed to prey upon the ignorant - people who really don't understand the nuances of the games they are playing. The unfortunate reality is that the most prevalent gambling strategy is that ignorant people just hope to get lucky. Casinos know they will eventually be losers, and rely upon those ignorant losers for most of their cash-flow.
This is most true within the game of Casino Craps. On most crap tables, there are 62 different possible places to bet, resulting in over 150 possible combinations of multiple bets. At the average Saturday night game, about half of the players will be novices.
So, the courses offered on this web-site are designed to level the playing field - to create a fair fight - to give craps players not just knowledge, but actual understanding of how the math of casino craps impacts the potential profitability of playing that game.
* * * The Target Market * * *
The courses are designed to cover the following groups of players:
These courses are intentionally cheap. Most casino craps games have $5 minimum bets, and the average craps player has lost $10-15 in one roll on more than one occasion. So, the price-point of these courses offers prospective buyers the following choice: spend the same money to have something that lasts a long time or lose it to the casino in the flash of an instant.
* * * Four Rolls From Doom * * *
Most people who have played craps for a while develop an intuition that about half of all players don't roll for very long - this is the half that seems to be done in about 4-5 rolls. There is a mathematical explanation for that, but you probably cannot find that explanation in the existing books and Internet articles. However, it is the core of developing any playing strategy; and it is also the core element of evaluating any playing strategy against other potential ways of playing.
Now, there is a difference between 'knowing' that half of all players only roll maybe 4 or 5 times, and 'understanding' why. That's why we offer the course 'Four Rolls From Doom.' People should have the opportunity to understand what is happening, and why, rather than just have an intuition because they always sense that their intuition can be wrong.
We offer courses covering 5 different starting strategies:
* * * Classic Starting Strategy * * *
People who have played craps for a while see a lot of players using a strategy of making a Pass-Line bet, then placing Odds behind the Pass-Line and making a couple of Come-Bets, also placing Odds on those Come-Bets. This 'Classic Starting Strategy' may be used by about half of all players. It is described in a lot of books and Internet articles. However, what the books and articles don't offer is 1) any analysis of the size of the bankroll necessary to play this strategy or 2) any analysis of how long it takes the average player to break even using this strategy.
Candidly, this is the strategy taught to beginning players in most casinos. So, consider these questions:
Why would you play any casino game the way the casino wants you to play it?
Why would they teach you how to beat them?
Or, are they really teaching you how to lose?
There are two problems with the Classic Starting Strategy: First, most players do not start with an adequate bankroll for this strategy. Second, it takes a lot more than 4 or 5 rolls to break even using this approach. So, it is a strategy that relies more upon luck than math.
* * * The Best !!! Inside Strategy * * *
Eventually, lots of players using the Classic Starting Strategy get tired of losing money, and drift to other strategies. Eventually, they may drift to an 'Inside' strategy, making Place-Bets rather than Come-Bets. That is analyzed in the course 'Place Bets Rule.' Usually, they try something they have seen, such as another approach frequently seen, the Iron Cross, also available from books and Internet articles. The problem with changing starting strategies is that most players don't know why the new approach is better (or not) than what they were doing before? They don't even have any idea of how to compare two approaches against each other.
However, of these 5 ways to start, we really only recommend one - 'The Best !!! Inside Strategy.' Significantly, we explain the math of why this is a better approach than the Classic Starting Strategy.
Here is a situation where a prospective player again confronts the choice to 'know' versus 'understand.' Anybody has the option to buy only one course, in which event we recommend 'The Best !!! Inside Strategy.' For the people who only buy one course, this is what is likely to happen. In the ebb-and-flow of gambling, there are always losing-streaks. And, in the middle of one of those downside streaks, there is tremendous temptation to abandon what is not working and try something else. If the person across the table is winning, sometimes the temptation to 'try' what the winner is doing becomes overwhelming. The best counter to that probable temptation is pretty simple: a player who 'understands' the conditions under which that alternative approach will work (or not) is less likely to abandon a mathematically better strategy to try something more risky premised upon pure luck.
* * * What Should You Buy? * * *
If a player actually knows and understands the math of this game, then they have the ability to successfully evaluate how much of the success of the player across the table is attributable to garden-variety-LUCK ! So, even for experienced players, it should be worthwhile to actually invest in the following sequence of courses:
After playing a while, and watching other players becoming more and more frustrated with the Classic Starting Strategy and the Iron Cross, the value of The Best !!! Inside Strategy will become more and more obvious, particularly when set against the math explained in Four Rolls from Doom.
* * * Raising * * *
The next thing that happens in Casino Craps is that after several hours of play, the variety of raising systems that different players use begins to rival the number of stars in the sky. Again, the obvious questions are, 'What is best?' and 'Why?' The course 'Simplified Raising' tries to answer these questions by presenting common alternatives, making comparisons, and offering recommendations. There is no 'right way' of raising. In reality, the raising system or strategy adopted by any individual player will be largely a matter of individual preference, tempered by risk-aversion.
* * * Shooting Dice & Dice Control * * *
Usually, after players figure out which betting strategy they want to use, and then which way they want to raise, they confront a dealer who says something like:
'All strategies work when you have a Shooter, and none work when you don't.'
Frankly, this is true. But, what the dealer did not say is that some strategies actually are better for the players than others.
Then, these players want to learn how to 'Shoot the Dice' better. They can find books or Internet content covering either 'dice control' or 'setting the dice.' The objective of dice control is to change the statistical probability of the game to favor the player rather than the casino. Some few very experienced players are actually successful at dice control - and within that elite group, most can only do it occasionally, while very few can do it consistently.
Frankly, dice control is a precision athletic skill that takes a lot of practice. The current literature offers variants of exactly 'one' concept. Yet, many players are looking for a different approach that does not require nearly as much athletic precision. We offer such an alternative in our course 'Why Set the Dice?'
* * * Everything Else * * *
The Etiquette course is FREE because it should be, if only as a favor to the Dealers out there.
We encourage players to avoid Sucker Bets, but they don't. So, the concept of the Hardways and Horn-Bet courses was pretty simple - at least bet the stuff better than the average player.
There are a few tips for Don't Players which should be obvious, but aren't seen used together that often.
The 'Hop-Up Then Hop-On' course is NOT for everybody - just the really good, courageous, 'gamblers.'
* * * Disclaimers * * *
Be careful. It is called 'gambling' for a reason. The odds always favor the house. Your best chance is to play the mathematically most favorable strategies.
There is no guarantee that you will win, because that is really more of a function of the other players at the table over which neither we nor you have any control.
And, there is no guarantee that you will even do better, because we don't know what you are already doing.
Also, we encourage every player to not bet what they cannot afford to lose.
